Final Feeling Lucky #23 copyAbout Feeling Lucky

Megan O’Malley gave in to drunken temptation and pinched a cute guy at her cousin’s wedding. Who’d have thought a perfectly normal guy–okay, a bit short–was a leprechaun or that he’d have such a bad attitude about giving away his money?! Now that she’s captured him, Megan may be five million dollars richer, but she’s also got an angry leprechaun camped out on her sofa, doing his best to prevent her from becoming the business mogul of her dreams!

Fergus O’Reilly cannot figure out what he’s done to upset the Queen of the Fairies. Working hard to rebuild his family’s honor, he took one small break to help friends play a wedding. Then some drunken lady pinched his ass, the Queen declared him caught, and now he’s broke, homeless, and hustling to stop the lovely lady with the wandering fingers from spending his money! This would be so much easier if she wasn’t cute and caring and determined to help with his so-called money addiction!

  1. That’s such a good question. What is my greatest treasure? Probably my mom. Not only has she been super supportive of me with my health problems, but she’s the one that made sure I was playing with toys or watching stuff that was educational. Because of her, I loved reading at an early age and never lost it. Some people never touch another book after graduating from school (at least, those who I graduated with from high school). I can’t imagine a world where I stopped loving reading. I watched and loved PBS, especially Wishbone. And never once did she complain about all the running I made her and my dad do for music lessons and school concerts, math/science/history competitions, nerdy summer camps. Straight As were expected of me instead of being something to reward, so I became very self-motivated. I may not have always appreciated their decisions back then, but now I see the reasoning. I’m just so grateful to have been given every chance my parents could give me to succeed. 🙂

      1. Oh, she was. Super protective/attentive. She’d had a few miscarriages before me, so she went nuts when I was born okay. There’s a story she likes telling me from when I was around 2 where we were in a toy store and I pointed and started mumbling. She did the parent thing and kinda went “oh? that’s nice.” A stranger was walking by as this happened, and she went, “Yes, that’s right, caballo! Horse!” My mom was shocked that Sesame Street was teaching me Spanish. That’s probably not that weird, but it was for people that grew up in WV where language studies were kinda forced on you in high school for a semester or year, max.
